Description of BloodStop Hemostatic Gauze

BloodSTOP hemostatic gauze is a water-soluble gauze formed of the finest regenerated cellulose for a natural solution to bleeding control. BloodSTOP acts in seconds to reduce blood loss, potentially increasing patient survivability.

BloodSTOP has a four-way hemostatic effect:

-BloodSTOP activates the coagulation factor and formation of thrombin in the body.

-In contact with the wound, BloodStop will absorb water from the blood, increasing concentration and viscosity and decreasing the speed of the blood flow.

-BloodSTOP swells quickly and produces a colloid after absorbing water, covering the wound and blocking the end of the blood capillary.

-BloodSTOP adheres to the platelet causing red blood cells to collect and activate the blood coagulation factor to facilitate clotting of blood.

BloodSTOP is ideal for treatment of traumatic wounds where stitches or staples are not possible.
