Description of Metacam Oral Suspension

Metacam (meloxicam) is generally given to control arthritis pain in dogs though it can be given for many other painful conditions. It is often used an analgesic in conjunction with surgery. Metacam can be used in cats but with caution as a general rule cats tend to be sensitive to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
